Healing Begins At The Water

We remove barriers so more people can experience the mental, physical, and emotional benefits of being in, under, and around water.

A Journey Into the Water

Everyone starts somewhere. For some, it begins with learning to swim. For others, it’s their first time snorkeling, trying scuba, or simply feeling calm and connected in the water. Blue Therapy Project exists to help people take that first step — and support them as far as that journey can go.

For two years, we’ve proudly supported a youth swim camp by providing shirts that created confidence, belonging, and pride for participating kids.

Our adaptive diver ambassador has helped introduce individuals with disabilities to snorkeling experiences and meaningful connection in the water.

By working with instructors and a college dive club to redesign certification pathways and reduce cost barriers, participation increased from 2 certifications to 22 in one year.

A snorkeling experience with a college basketball team in St. Thomas became the spark behind Blue Therapy Project after seeing firsthand how powerful that experience could be.

What Makes Us Different

We don’t try to replace existing programs.

Instead, we:

  • Build partnerships
  • Reduce barriers
  • Expand access
  • Scale what works

By supporting and strengthening existing communities, schools, instructors, and organizations, we can help more people experience the healing power of water.
