Creating Pathways Into the Water

Starts Here — Water Access
It Starts Here — Water Access
Every journey begins somewhere.
For many people, especially children and underserved communities, the first step is simply gaining comfort and confidence in the water.
This includes:
- Swim lessons through partner organizations
- First-time water experiences
- Youth-focused opportunities
- Introductory exposure to water activities
These experiences create the foundation for everything that follows.

Discover — Water Experiences
Once someone feels comfortable, discovery begins.
We support accessible water experiences such as:
- Snorkeling
- Introductory scuba sessions
- Group water activities
- Adaptive water experiences
These moments often create powerful emotional connections and lasting memories.

Transform — Dive Certification
Scuba certification represents one of the most transformative experiences within our pathway.
Through partnerships, scholarships, and cost-reduction efforts, we help make certification more accessible to individuals who may not otherwise have the opportunity.
This includes:
- Certification scholarships
- Reduced-cost certification pathways
- Partner-supported training opportunities
- Programs focused on veterans, mental health, and underserved communities
By redesigning access within one college dive program, participation increased from 2 certifications to 22 in a single year.

Access Partnerships
One of the most important parts of our work is helping existing programs reach more people.
We collaborate with:
- Schools and universities
- Dive instructors and dive shops
- Nonprofits and community organizations
- Adaptive and accessibility-focused groups
Our goal is simple:
Create more affordable, accessible, and sustainable pathways into the water.
